What is CBT and how can it help?
Cognitive behavioural therapy or CBT can help you manage your problems by changing the way you think and behave. Most commonly used to treat anxiety and depression, CBT can be useful for other mental and physical health problems, helping you tackle them in a more positive and decisive way.
CBT aims to help you crack the vicious cycle of negative thoughts and feelings by breaking down seemingly overwhelming problems into smaller parts, lessening their impact and improving the way you feel.
Reviewing current problems rather than focusing on your past, cognitive behavioural therapy is shown to be an effective way of treating a number of different mental health conditions.
CBT is especially helpful to treat and help you manage anxiety
Anxiety can come in various different forms, diagnoses and is different for every individual. We can help you understand how your anxiety works, how it keeps going and help you start to take control of your life again.
